difference between a trailer and a teaser trailer

A teaser trailer is a variation of a film trailer. Its purpose is to tease the audience and get them interested in the film and capture their attention, which makes them excited to see the film. Teaser trailers are normally shorter than standard trailer ranging from 30 seconds to 1:30. A teaser trailer has a sense of mystery behind them and doesn't let the audience know the plot of the narrative, but just gives them a little insight to get them interested.
